JPG, PNG, or WebP

How It Works

Upload an image and it appears in a preview area below. Click and drag anywhere on the image to draw a selection box around the part you want to keep, you can redraw the box as many times as you like before cropping. Once the selection looks right, click Crop Image to generate a new image containing only that selected area.

This is useful for pulling one face out of a group photo, removing unwanted borders or backgrounds around a screenshot, or preparing a tightly framed image for a profile picture or thumbnail. The cropped result downloads as a PNG at the original image's resolution, so no quality is lost in the process.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I redraw my selection before cropping?+

Yes, simply click and drag again anywhere on the image to draw a new selection box, replacing the old one.

What resolution is the cropped image?+

The crop is calculated against your image's original resolution, not the smaller preview size, so the output stays sharp.

Is my image uploaded to a server?+

No. The crop happens locally in your browser using the canvas API. Your image never leaves your device.

What file format do I get?+

The cropped result downloads as a PNG file, which supports transparency and lossless detail.
